Meet Dr. Stephen Wong
General Dentist
Dr. Wong graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Pharmacology and minoring in Commerce with distinction. He then pursued his education in dentistry at McGill University in Montreal where he trained under clinical instructors and embraced their compassionate and empathetic approach to dental care. After four years in Montreal he graduated with distinction from his dental training.
Dr. Wong continued advancing his education at the University of Connecticut Advanced Education in the General Dentistry residency program where he gained further experience working with medically compromised patients, restorative and prosthodontic treatments, oral surgery, emergency dental management, and sedation.
After being on the East Coast, Dr. Wong chose to resettle back in Burnaby and is proud to be a part of Wall Centre Dental. In addition to practicing the scientific and artistic aspects of dentistry, he is passionate about providing the utmost quality of care for his patients to ensure their comfort and trust. He takes time to understand each patient’s needs and works with them to achieve and maintain their oral health. He advances his knowledge in dentistry in courses to keep current with the best dental treatment options.
In his spare time, Dr. Wong enjoys going to concerts, playing sports, camping and hiking with his dog.
