Meet Dr. Mona Afrand
Certified Specialist in Orthodontics
Graduating from the University of Toronto with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Mona Afrand practiced in general dentistry for a few years. Her desire to change smiles led Dr. Mona to advance her education where she completed a three year residency at the University of Alberta and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Orthodontics.
Dr. Mona’s personal view is that the personality and caring attitude of a Doctor can make all the difference. Her goal is to provide orthodontic treatment in the most efficient and reliable manner while making sure every patient is treated as an individual who will personally grow as a result of their experience during their treatment.
Dr. Mona is married to Dr. Siamak Tehrani and together they have a son. In her spare time, Dr. Mona likes to travel and spend time with her friends and family.
